An Affidavit of Support and Guarantee Letter is an official travel document for Filipinos planning to visit the United Arab Emirates for a longer stay and looking for job opportunities. It serves as a guarantee that the sponsor (relatives) in the UAE will cover all the expenses during their stay.
An affidavit of support and guarantee letter for travel is applied by eligible relatives holding the UAE residency visas through the Philippines Embassy or Consulate in the UAE.

An affidavit of support and guarantee for travel is a letter containing personal details about the sponsor, indicating a relationship between the travelers. Filipino travelers traveling for the first time or even candidates who were previously working in the country require affidavit support, show money, and sponsor documents to travel from the Philippines to the UAE.
What are the documents required?
- A copy of visitor’s valid Filipino passport.
- Sponsor’s valid passport and residence visa.
- Salary contract and bank statements.
- Tenancy contract or valid hotel booking.
- Certificate to prove the relationships.
- Supporting documents as per requirements.
Important Information
- Household Service Workers (HSWs) are not allowed to sponsor.
- Senior citizens and minors below 17 are exempt from affidavit requirements.
- Arabic documents should be translated into English language.
- Applicants must personally sign documents in front of Consular Officials.
- Tampered documents will be seized and holders will be prosecuted.
- Payments for forged documents will be forfeited.
